How the skin tone finder works
Upload a clear, front-facing photo in even, natural light and the tool maps your face, samples several skin patches (cheeks, forehead, nose and chin) and reads:
- Skin tone / depth — from very fair to deep, with the tone name people use (alabaster, ivory, beige, honey, amber, caramel, mahogany, espresso…).
- Undertone — warm, cool or neutral, from your actual skin pixels.
- Colour season — spring, summer, autumn or winter, and the colours that flatter you.
- Your palette — best colours to wear, neutrals, metals, hair colours, makeup shades and colours to avoid.
